My daughter Sophia & son Teddy look forward to enjoying slopeslide waffles every ski season at Okemo. Sometimes it is the only thing that motivates them to keep going!

I was raised in Rutland and like my relatives before me, my first job was up "on the mountain". It did not take long for me to get hooked on the waffle cabin waffles. I still have dreams of them when ever it snows.

Dear reader,
I turned, I swerved, I lost control. I tumbled and was out of sight. I sat there for quite some time, I don’t know how much time had passed or where I was. I had know ways of communication and I think I had broken my leg. when suddenly, i saw a mexican with his beloved goat. just kidding. that would be weird. but seriously, i saw a waffle cabin and I instantly fell in love. There were 3 little girls with chocolate belgian waffles all over their faces. Their skis and the little girl’s husband’s snowboard was strewn everywhere. They were lying on top of each other passed out because they hurt, a lot. The oompa loompa like stubbs of a girl was lying on top of the tall monster lady named doug. weird. Then there was the loser who had no nickname, Hannah. That was when her husband told her for the first time that he loved her. They tried to capture it on camera, but doug got sidetracked, like usual, The once indian hostage girl was with her biological brother skiing. The girls made a very funny pun and laughed. Their sass-o-meter went waaay up. I decided the scene was very lovely so I captured it with my hand held camcorder yes, i’m am very hi-tech). I like replaying it over and over and over again. They are all so lovely.

I just had my first sugar waffle at Waffle Cabin in Stratton, VT. My dad

I Went to Mount snow last year and I stopped at a waffle cabin because it was a cold day and i thought, what the heck? But I tried the waffle and my friends and I looked at each other and only one word came to all of our minds.. ORGASMIC…. Really, the best thing i’ve ever eaten. Great idea putting them on the cold slopes.

This year will be our 7th season at Okemo. Every year when we come, we make mutiple stops to the waffle cabin. Besides the amazing snow conditions and the amazing trails, this is the main reason why we come! All hail Belguim Sugar Waffles! We crave them everyday we aren’t sitting there eating them!!
